Ice Maker

We bought our 2001 HR Imperial last year and used it a couple times. We just officially moved in full time and I have a question. Turning the ice maker water on. The book says there should be a valve in the "vanity" to turn the water on for the ice maker. Anyone know where that is? Ive looked everywhere!

Hi Hilblee; On my 01 Windsor, the ice maker shut off is under the kitchen sink. Has a small valve handle that looks like the old radiator drain petcock on the older cars we grew up with. Look for the small clear plastic tube going to the valve. I think it is downstream from the under the sink water filter. Hope this helps. Happy hunting!

I had a Monaco 40ft. 2002 Diplomat and found the icemaker shutoff in the space under the refrigerator. I now have a 2005 Moarch SE 34 foot gas rig and found the icemaker valve under the refrgerator, also. FYI, the on/off demand water valve is in outside refrigeator access panel. I had pinhole leaks in that plastic line from the valve on both rigs. Makes for a very wet floor!!
