What is the red switch in the lower left side used for ?

If it is the wet bay heater it won't light up until it is cold enough for the heater to run. You can test this by bypassing the snap disc that controls the heater.

Also testing bay heater by blowing an upside can of air on the snap disc. Works great.

If it is the bay heater, both switches need to be on for it to run. One "near the drivers door"(per the manual) and the one on the heater.
