Typically, the first "click" clockwise is the Run position. Everything should have power. The second click clockwise would be the Crank position.
The first click counter-clockwise is the Accessory position, and the radio should have power then as well.

Does the radio work in any position?
What is powered (dash gauges, etc.) when the key is in the first click clockwise?

Same.

Turn the key counter-clockwise for accessory position.

On my 2009 Monaco there is no "click" turning the key counter-clockwise. The first click clockwise is the ACC, the second is Run, the third is start. The dash radio works with ACC or Run.

Does it work while started or in Acc position ? I'm not sure how it would be wired to only work while running and not in run position.BUT...
My radio has some sort of relays that will swap radio "and cig-lighter I believe" to house batteries once the key is off or chassis battery is disconnected. Looks like a PO added a switch to choose which battery also maybe it's OEM but switch is not.
