In Dash Blower

Hi Friends, I am sure I have been a pain in the a--! That while trying so hard to find why my dash heat and air was not working !Well today I found that blower motor, and if you have a Dynasty around 1996, I know the best and easiest way to get to it! Its a shame to have to cut a hole threw the dask shirt below the dash top! But its the only way without a ton of work and that includes pulling up most of the dash top and then removing the skirt under it, from the center Cabinet to the door! I can give you the measurments of just where the motor and the size of the hole to get it out! Being a old Carpenter for a many a year, I can tell you how to cover the hole and look nice! I also know what are the wires and where they are, to really test that Motor! And, its nothing to do with the resister or wires to it! Glad to advise you! Hell, my wife does that for me all the time! Ha! allegro5

Glad to hear that you solved that problem. The whole process must have been very frustrating!

I'm getting ready to work on the same problem on my '95 Dynasty. I'm sure the dash must be about the same.

Any information you can share, measurements, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

The hole you had to cut, is it a round hole. Could it be covered with a round register that would look good, as if it's supposed to be there?

Found blower motor and how to fix it! Hi friends, I am willing to help any that need to know how to test the blower and where to find it! If it sounds rough, now is the best time to put an ear to the lower dash and locate it! Maybe a stethoscope on a Blood pressure taker will really pinpoint it! For many rigs I know where and what the measurments are! allegro5
