In Search of The Slide Out Controller Board
I have looked in all the obvious places. Does anyone know where I can find the dual slideout controller on a 2002 Holiday Rambler Neptune 34PDQ? It is hidden very well. I found the proper controller to replace it with, but cannot find the controller itself.
Thanks,eh?
Brad

Not sure but I thought rocker switch and solenoid (relay) was all the controls necessary to enable slide to move other than slide motor?

I wish that is true, but..
I called HR Monoco with my VIN and they said that there is a controller. She gave me a part # and a price of $123.00.
I just cannot find the darn thing.

On my 2003 Cayman, sister coach to your Neptune, it's in the battery compartment in the #3 run box. As it seems no two Monaco products are the same yours may be else where else. If you don't find it in the battery compartment, you might also look in the compartment just behind the battery compartment. Hope this helps.

No. All I got from the factory was a part number. I did a search with the number and came up with nothing.

You may have to go to a slide motor and trace the wires back. This can be very difficult because of the way they bundle the wires but it may be the only way. There are wire tracers that could be used but they are costly.

I finally found the control board. It is in the battery compartment. There was no labeling on the board indicating it was for the slides. I googled a number I found on it and found that it was indeed the slide out control board.
It contains 4 relays, 2 per slide. I m going to replace all 4 relays and see what happens. If it still acts up, I will replace the whole board.
Thanks for all the help. This forum is great!

Having had a lot of experience with 12 and 24vdc relay control devices, I'm betting on the relays being bad. I've seen it thousands of times.
