Indicator light source/PN

My coach has a system heat with the small 12 volt heater in the wet by. With the switch on it allows the system to run but it's actually a snap disc that turns the heater on when it is cold enough.
The problem is I cannot see the monitor panel from the bed. I was in cold weather last week and got up several times at night to see if the system was heating the wet bay but never saw the indicator light work.

Finally on the last day of the trip, while driving home in 20F weather, I saw the light come on from the drivers seat.

I would like to add an indicator light in the bedroom that would come on when the system heat was working.

Does anyone have a source for this type of light??

Jim-

Some Monaco coaches used the Sigma Switches 1Z-03-U indicator (product sheet here). A link to buy one on eBay is here.

Other suppliers have a similar indicator. A link to one by JR Products is here.

As always, check the dimensions and other specs, as such may be different for your coach.

Thanks, I did some searches using the information and found a indicator light. I will probably have to make a simple mount as I really don't have a place open in the bedroom where I want to mount it.

Might be better to add wired or wireless actual temp. monitor. In my mind it could be on and not heating.

I actually have a wireless temp monitor.

I guess having the indicator light will just let me know the system heat is working.

Any 12v pilot indicator lamp could be run off switch or even output to heater.you would want to fuse lower than wire used to lamp near to 12 pos. source.

That's what I'm going to do, run off the wires easily accessible on the back side of my fresh water tank. Can run a pair of wire up through the floor into the bathroom and then into the bedroom and mount the light in the vanity base.

If it ends up too bright at night just use black Sharpie on small or tape for bigger flat lens cover center as needed . Had to do to leds on a few gaming and home theater PC cabinets I built . You would swear some were lasers at night .
You could wire in a small led volt meter as indicator. I have USB 3.0 charger version. See voltage at a glance as well while it's running and in case of loss of charging . This is first I grabbed. You may find one with inline fuse as I did for my chargers.
