Information on optional shocks

Our coach (2007 Beaver Patriot Thunder) has the optional electronically controlled shocks (Bilstein's) that have a sport and comfort setting controlled by a dash switch. The lights on the switch stay on regardless of the switch setting. Does anybody have any technical information on how they operate? I have a constant error light on the dash but can find no troubleshooting data. Contacted Bilstein but they said since it was an OEM supplied item only they cant help, REV group has not been of any help. Any technical data, owners manual, brochure, etc would be appreciated. Looking at the wiring diagrahm, which I do have, it appears the system is not as simple as I hoped.

Your shocks are the optional Monaco ADC RV 2-Position Adjustable Shock System.

Page 232 and 233 in your owners manual explains the system, but does not help with troubleshooting. First, I would check the fuse in the front electrical bay under the drivers feet (on the outside).
I would send a PM to IRV2 member Hypoxia as he has this system and is very knowledgeable.

Download a soft copy of your owners manual here:

Then you can perform easy searches.

Shocks - Active Control Damping (Optional)
Electronic monitoring
of the suspension,
chassis, and motorhome
speed allows constant
adjustments to be
made to the shock
damping system. This
in turn allows for better
handling characteristics,
smoother ride and overall
improved driving control.
Operation:
Shock operating modes, Comfort or Sport,
are selected from a driver’s console switch.
The driver can select which mode to operate
according to their personal preference and/or
road conditions.
Comfort:
Shock damping is reduced to provide a
smoother ride.
Sport:
Shock damping is increased to provide
an improved level of performance to the
motorhome’s ability to handle pitch, roll and
adverse driving conditions.
Indicator Lights:
The light on the selector switch indicates
the system is active. The Red LED next to the
switch will blink once when the ignition is
turned on. Should the LED remain illuminated
there is a malfunction in the system and the
mode will default to Sport.
NOTE
The motorhome is safe to drive should
the ACD system default to the hard
mode. However, contact Monaco
Technical Support to locate the nearest
service center for diagnostic and repair

Hard to find any data on that system. The ACD controller is inside the driver side console.
Open the panel on the console for access. It would be worth re-seating the connector.
I'll see if I have any useful data.

I won't be any help as I have tried to find info on troubleshooting unsuccessfully. I can say the difference between Sport and Comfort is barely noticeable. Sport is not a word that should be associated with these motor coaches! My shocks still work great but the bushings are showing their age.

Ha! Ironically enough my Bilstein ACD fault light illuminated yesterday. I will just ignore it for the time being.
