Harry, do you think electric socks would help? If not perhaps dipping your fingers in a bowl full of prop wash before touching the switch would do it.

You’re on to something now. I think the electric magnetic shocks are the ones to get.

Poor Steve , on a leash now!

Hey Mud, welcome to the forum. I hope you find a Monaco, because this group can help you. That is, when we’re not clowning around. We do appreciate your input.

There have been a number of times I got a large static electric jolt when touching the switch pads and wondered if it would fry the pad. Fortunately it hasn't yet.

Last summer I stopped at M&M in Ohio City, OH and had them back up my computer and all of the switch pads as well as making some changes to switch functions.

FWIW, if you have a pad with 4 buttons, pop the cover off & you will find that it has 6 switches. If you could find the clear plastic 6 button pad and black cover you can add functions to that pad. I did that with some of mine while at M&M.

I'll be passing through that area soon & am wondering if I want anything else changed.

I like the grounding cuff idea - whenever anyone enters the coach, they first attach the ground cuff or glove (which has a 40 ft lead connected to good ground at entrance), and then they are free to enter and walk around the coach and touch stuff.

Mike the glove and cuff are a great idea, I think you should market that. Harry can sell them on TV just $19.95 plus shipping. No but wait! for a limited time you get the glove, cuff, and magnetic socks too! All for $19.95!!!

Hypoxia, I would love to stop in and see those guys at M&M if ever in the area. The back up would be 1st on my to do list. Good guys to work with too.

Steve

Groundng pads mounted near light switch’s. Ground wires could run to any close outlet ground.

So now I’ve jinxed myself. I’m at Gros Ventre Campground in the Tetons and getting shocked all the time. What’s with that? Maybe a group buy on the cuffs or gloves is in order.
