Inverter Bad?

I have a 95 monaco Dynasty and the 110 outlets work on shore and gen power, but all are dead otherwise. Not a GFI problem obviously, but did check those until I figured out the power worked when the genset was on. 12V power works with and without shore/gen power. house batteries stay charged when on shore/gen power. It is a heart interface 2000. So.. power is going from Shore/Genset to house batteries, but house batteries to inverter to 110 outlets without shore/genset power is not working. I have checked the resets on the front of the inverter. What else should I check before just installing a new inverter?

1st you must know what your inverter is supposed to run. Some inverters only power the residential fridge. Or only power a few outlets such as TV plugs.

it is a 95 model and the control panel is very basic, not a display like many of the new ones, but yes it is on.
