Inverter Not Equalizing
2002 Monaco Diplomat seems inverter won't equalize when powered by genset. Panel shows lights flashing and high charger output but generator shows no increased amps and stays at idle. Aircond will both run and genset speeds up and amps increase. It is obviously providing output. Any suggestions? No shore power available where stored so can t confirm if problem there. Last March worked fine with shorepower.???

Doesn't take many extra AC amps to increase your full battery bank from 13.3v to 15.? v.

Charging amps may be marginally higher, maybe not enough to notice above normal charging.
How often do you do a equalization charge??
I use to do mine until I heard of these, https://www.amazon.com/Pulsetech-Pow...59029102&psc=1
I installed one of these ~9 years ago, my last set of batteries lasted +8 years. Seems like voodo but it seems to work.

Check for the voltage increase.
The amp increase may not be much.

I normally equalize monthly when hooked up and take all house and chassis batteries home when stored.
How does one install the pulse unit? I have four 6v Trojans and 2 12 v chassis.

One wire goes to (+) and one wire to (-). Simple as that

Do you use another one for the chassis batteries?

If your not typically on shore power, keep in mind that the power pulse is using your batteries to do what it does.
Their website says it uses less then 2% of your battery power but what does that mean ?
If your dry camping or store your RV without power, you may want to add a switch to disconnect it.

Good point, I keep mine stored plugged in. Have a residential refrigerator so have to run generator to keep batteries up.
