Sorry I didn't want to click so many tiny boxes on my phone. The website seems like maybe has some good resources for Intelect. Do you see # on the board.
Here found what looks like full part # or replacement for previous obsolete one at bottom

Are you having issues with one of your battery banks not charging, or, just curious if that's the BIRD?

*edit* Don't worry, just read your other related thread.

Yes, you found the board I have but, since I have a mix of lithium and lead- acid batteries, I have to stop using this board and install a dc-dc charger instead!

Perhaps I am not getting the plot with all that old electro stuff, but a VSR with a readout seemed to fix my stuff. All charging, all the time.

OK guys, I'm about to decide on lithiums and I gotta do it by 830am tomorrow because they have an opening . I don't know what a bird is, but I thought if I did it
i would get the converter. Xantrex says my I
N verter would do it but I would be skeptical.

I have 1200 watts on the roof. They will put in an isolator. Am I gonna be one of those people who burns up 3 100 ah batteries?

Help so tired of studying everything. I just wan t to trust someone to do it right.

Bi directional, Ignition Relay Delay. I'm not aware of it being a brand name so much as just a generic description.

Go on YouTube to the AZ expert and there is a comprehensive video where he changes the ignition relay delay out for a bidirectional ignition relay delay.

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me how to properly disable the "BIRD" on my 2003 Signature? I am at the shop and these guys have not heard of a bird.

They did install a dc to dc charger between the big boy and something else. But the circuit board is still connected.

I gotta get this right. I just had a $2500 hydraulic slide fiasco cause the shop put in the wrong part and then wired it wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Moira,
I think the DC/DC charger is a good thing. I'm afraid that if they don't disable the BCC, the Big Boy will actually bridge the two Battery banks (L/A and Lithium) who have different chraging profiles.

I think that's not good.
