We have a 2009 Monaco Diplomat. We went to pull our slides in, (air up, jacks up) got both rear slides in and nothing happened when we tried to pull in the front slides. Then couldn't bring rear slides back out. Jacks won't go down or up. Rear jacks are up, front is part way. Have tried all sorts of things. Has anyone had a similar issue? We've never had this before. Always follow the same procedures to set up and take down. Almost seems like an electrical issue? Is there a switch or fuse somewhere that we may have missed? The back slides are cabled, front hydraulic.

The slideouts are typically fed with their own supply. There is often a cable direct from the battery to the slideout control board, where there will be fuses and relays. This control board will often be near the batteries, perhaps in the compartment with the inverter? Might be worth trying to track that down and look for blown fuses of burnt wiring.

The wiring diagrams I have show a lead coming right from the house positive battery post, and going to a connector for the slidout control board. But I don't have any diagrams that show anything after that.

Shapeshifter, he's been looking along those areas. He's thinking it's the inverter maybe. He'll keep at it till he gets it figured out. Really glad it happened here at home! At least in our garage with no immediate trips planned it's not stressful. Annoying and frustrating, but not stressful. Normally we would be packing up for a month down in florida. LOL Glad we postponed it till April now. Taking our Grandson to Disney during spring break. Thanks for the suggestions! You sound like you've had your fair share of the joys of MH'ing.

We just went through a similar issue with the slides & jacks on our 06 Winnebago Journey DP. What made the issue aggravating was that it was very intermittent. One time we pressed the buttons and all worked fine, while the next time nothing worked. There were other times when the slides went out, but the jacks wouldn't go down. We lived with this for quite a few months, in and out of the shop trying to locate the problem. Our slides and jacks are operated through an HWH hydraulic system and we ended up taking the RV to a repair facility of theirs in northern Indiana. It took them less than an hour to find the problem. The main circuit board that controls that system is located under the entry steps. On that board is a small relay that when energized, sends power to the main relay to operate whatever is demanded from the system at that time. That small relay would transfer the power intermittently, which was the cause of all our grief. They removed the board and sent it to their main facility in Moscow, IA where it was completely overhauled and updated. We've had no issues with anything since.

"nrupracht"......Well nothing simple, so I would go to the battery bay and see if you have power getting past the two large manual disconnect switches. They have been known to suddenly disintegrate.

There should also be a large solenoid on the back wall. Make sure there is power to both sides of the large battery cables. If you power coming out of the battery bay, you'll have to start searching with a meter after that.

Don't know if this helps but I have a safety switch on the basement doors that won't let the slides operate if the doors are open. Even though the doors were closed, one of the switches had corroded and lost contact giving the signal of a open bay door. Cleaned the switch and slides worked. Ending days of head scratching and cursing.

That's a great tip! And easy to overlook.

On my rig, I can't operate the slides if the ignition is on. So there must be a relay somewhere that opens up and disconnects the slide circuits if the ignition is on. If nrupracht has a similar interlock, it's always possible for those relay contacts or connections to be bad.
