It’s Time To Downsize, Need Suggestions

I turned 75 this year. We have a 2007 Diplomat SFT, that we bought new in 2007. It has been a great coach, but it is time to move down to something around 30’. I would love a diesel, but it will probably have to be a gasser in that size range.

I want something with Monaco quality and a walk around bed. 2-5 years old. Any advice on a current brand and model?

See you in Quartzsite.

If your looking at diesel and having a quality build perhaps a Newmar Newaire but they come in at almost 36'.

Original Newaires built from 2018 through part of 2020 had floor plans that were 33'.

I'm scratching my head for short diesel with a quality build. There may be some Super Cs if you're up for that.

Tiffin Breeze may work, just have to find floor plans. I did a search on RVTrader.com and found this https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/202...194#sid=417579

Once you find a make/year/model you like do a general search

Dynamax Isata 5 28SS hits a lot of the points:
31' 2" overall. 217" wheelbase. 4-wheel drive. Cummins 360hp. 10k towing cap. A class C built on a Ram 5500 chassis. 8kw diesel Onan. Walkaround bed. Quality will be a compromise. Ride will be a compromise.

One of the mistakes to avoid is purchasing a coach with the light duty 1000-2000 series Allison transmission. It will restrict your gross weight and you may not be able to tow your CRV.
Good luck!
