Spent the day digging out sod to widen my driveway. As it was, I had to drive over some grass to get the Monaco into my shop. Hopefully once the stone arrives, I will have enough room to keep the thing on stone when manuevering around and into my shop.

Spent a little time reattaching trim that had fallen off in the accident. Almost all of the crown molding pieces at the top of the slides had fallen off.

A few of my cherry cabinet doors have been found to be broken/cracked.... Luckily they all can be easily repaired. Here is a picture of the pantry cabinet door which should be good as new after the glue dries.

Anyone know where I can source a new turbo down pipe for my Cummins 350 ISC? I am missing the pipe from the Pacbrake (exhaust brake which is mounted to the turbo outlet) down to a flextube entering the muffler. I have the clamp off the Pakbrake. I have the ability to order 4" stainless or aluminized steel tubing and 90 degree elbows and can fit/fab and tig weld up a new pipe assembly, but I do not know where to get the special flange that mates up to the Pakbrake.

Try your local heavy truck shop. They should either have a stub with a flare on it, or be able to get one.

Thanks for the link... I found an adapter at Napa that should work. A member here with an 04 Camelot is sending pictures tomorrow of how his is routed. Should be able to weld up something using 90 degree 4" elbows from Napa.

Rear curbside bedroom slide would not come back in... It has the Powergear dual synchronized motors/racks. Checked all connections fuses and relays and was getting frustrated as I assumed the synchronization controller was the problem. Luckily however I eventually found the problem. This coach must have blown a right rear tire at some point and the plastic covers under the wheel well had gotten shoved up against the floor jamming the wiring harness to the front motor against the rack and pinched it. One of the wires was completely sheared. I got in there and soldered the wires back together and put a piece of heat shrink tube on it. Dressed the wires back nicely and problem solved. Now all four slides work as they should. I also got a chance to test out the air leveling system a bit. Raised the coach all the way up, lowered it and played with the manual individual controls. Seems to work great. Will check/adjust ride heights at some point. It was a good night!

Interchangeable Front Monaco Caps

Crazy question and I doubt anyone will have a definitive answer, but does anyone know if any other Monaco front caps are physically the same size in regard to overall width, height and 2 pc windshield size/shape as the '03-'04 Camelots? Even though it would not have the same dual headlights as the 03-04 Camelots, I am thinking it would possibly be easier to locate a cap or partial cap from a more common Monaco?

Call Monaco tech support P 877-466-6226, F 541-681-8099 ask for Frank Phillips. Or anyone else there should be able to help you with this question.

I'm not sure but since the entire front cap appears to be from a single mold for each model make and year with primarily different headlight openings I doubt they will be identical. The used '05 Monaco Knight cap we found for my '05 Knight wasn't a perfect fit. The driver's side vertical edge seems to be a little off in size and the headlight openings seem a little smaller making it hard to fit and aim the headlights.
If you use a front cap with a different headlight arrangement than original some potential buyers might be put off by that. Just food for thought.
