It is usually brand specific
I have an Essex keyless entry.
Monaco put a reset button hidden somewhere up under the dash. Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes it is not.
When I first bought our coach I wanted to reset the codes but couldn't find the button. I looked everywhere with NO JOY.
After looking at the wiring schematic the button basically was a momentary switch coming off the yellow wire. I actually just installed a second switch coming right off the touch pad. I used this to initiate the reset sequence.
Years later I was changing out the CB radio and found a lone wire buried in a bundle of wire, it had the plastic protector shielding on it with nothing coming out the end. Pulled back the plastic and there was the button to reset the keyless entry. So now I have 2 buttons.

Monaco used various keypad mfg. the only way to be sure is to take out the keypad and verify the mfg. and and model, if it is Trimark, they are very helpful in walking you thru the programming. Ps. my Trimark did not have the reprogramming button, had to jump the terminal, which Trimark helped me thru the steps.

I have the TriMark system on my 06 Camelot. To access it, I removed the storage pocket next to the passenger seat, and there was a wire with a button on it, but it did nothing! I finally called them and was told to watch the video- it turns out you have to short out two pins (not the two the button was attached to) on a different section of the device, which I could only see with a mirror. I was finally able to short the pins by feel with a screwdriver insert and reprogram the authority code.
If yours is a TriMark, the manual and videos are available on their web site, trimarkcorp.com
Good luck!

This is from Trimark and how I reset my keypad and only because the factory authority code had not been changed (most people never change it).
Press and hold the number ‘3’ until it beeps.
Press the number ‘4’ button 5 times (this is the factory set authority code).
Press ‘1’ (to assign a new code to button 1) then key in the 5 digit code. Then enter it again. Do this for each button. This allows you to assign a different code to unlock the door, unlock the bay doors, or unlock the door and bay doors.
To unlock, enter the 5 digit code and:
Press number 1 to unlock the door
Press number 2 to unlock the bay doors
Press number 4 to unlock the door and bay doors
I also have the manual if you want me to send it to you.

That would also be helpful. Mine is a Trimark. I did get the fob to work on coach door but not bay doors.

I just went to the Trimark website and they have a lot more info than when I was there last. They have coach specific videos ( a previous poster mentioned this) and manuals.
http://www.trimarkcorp.com/
Look under the Support--> Keyless Entry Support section.

Photopilot, I just found your response. I also have an 06 Camelot 40PAQ and had the same thing; button did nothing. Found the correct pin to short today and got everything reset.
I wonder what the button is for?

The directions can be confusing. Tankcj has it streamlined and correct. Jut have all o your numbers written down and ready to go. There is a time limit in each step. If you don't enter in the numbers in the limit, all is cancelled. It is in the manual...there is a series of beeps that tell you that you messed up (can't remember the sequence without looking it up)
