Keyless entry

I have a 2005 Monaco Camelot. I am trying to program the keyless entry system. I seem to have no power to the system. Does anyone know of a fuse in the system?
I have found the button and light in the passenger armrest.

Well, if you have found the control module, which it sounds like you have (mine resides behind the dash), there should be a red wire coming from the module box with a inline fuse holder.

According to the 2005 Camelot owners manual you have an Essex keyless entry.
Programming is covered on page 184.

However, the early Essex keypads are notorious for dyeing when left in sunlight.
A1 Electric in Torrance CA has the new replacement model for Monaco coaches.
KE-1701BHC keypad has the original Monaco connector.
I installed the new model 5 years ago and it still works great. I was also able to program some Remocon key fobs to work with it.
Let me know if you need more assistance.

Fuse 11 in the cabinet was the gen slide. While looking for it in the armrest I believe I found a loose connection. There must be fifty yards of wire wound around in there. While in there the system seemed to start working. Maybe it will stay working. But I am not going to take a chance of locking all of my keys inside. Thank you everyone for the help. Even with forty nine years owning an RV of some type I still get stuck in some things.

Yes, and sometimes it's hard for old folks to get up the ladder.

That's a good idea!

When these keyless entry systems fail, they can send power to the auto bay locks for too long, destroying the lock motors in either the locked, or unlocked position. When they fail, your key won't overpower the failed actuator!

Mine all failed! Lucky for me, in the unlocked position.
