Thumbs up kitchen

the kitchen roll out door has a broken piece of wood at the bottom. This has allowed the cable at the bottom to let go, and the spring loaded door to retract. is there any easy fix. I know I can drill a new hole in the wood. but hooking it back up seems crazy. I think the cable ran over a kitchen pipe. which is also crazy. Any ideas would be great????:

I think he's talking about the Tambor wood door in the cabinet at the rear of the kitchen slide. It rolls in and out when you move the kitchen slide in and out. I see many of these broken on used coaches.

Thanks a lot and you are exactly right. A lot of them are broken because its a bad design so all I really wanted to do is close the door so it looks nice with the slide open. SO it is now a manual door. And I put the slide out and then I closed the door. I Had to release some spring tension. But the kitchen pipes are not being pulled on, and the door is not binding in the track. best fix yet. and thank you for the input.

well I really don't know how to post a picture. I guess its time I learned. this door is like Vito said. it's on the back kitchen wall. and you can not see it when the slide is in. you can only see it when the slide is out. it is wood and looks like the cover on a roll top desk. it is spring loaded and rolls in and out with the slide. I will try to learn how to attach pic's
