Kitchen Faucet

First water flows fine from every faucet including the toilet. The kitchen Moen faucet started to run with the typical sputtering of air in the line. As it started to run it slowly reduced to a trickle until it totally stopped running. The filtered water spigot next to it runs fine. What could be wrong?

If you have the "pullout" sprayer head, you will need to unscrew it
from the line, soak it in CLR. You should also clean the screen filter.

With the head off, turn your water on and verify water is coming
through the lines.

Same problem I'm having. Going out now to put it in CLR.

Mine was plugged with mineral deposits. I unscrewed the aerator and ran the water. Quite a bit of white pea size deposits came out. Worked great after that.

Soaking it in a pan of warm white vinegar also disolves the hard water deposits.

Cheers,

Turns out the internals of mine were clean, no grit or build-up. And with the faucet off, the water is still low pressure, barely more than a trickle. My filtered water is also slow. Hot water comes out strong. Both hot and cold come out strong on all other faucets.

Kitchen Faucet

Sounds to me like you have a restriction or kink in the cold water supply line to that faucet and filter system. This is assuming that the plumbing from the filter only supplies the small faucet and not both in the kitchen. In which case. Filter ??

It is both the faucet and the filter faucet. I'm going to have to do some digging. Literally.

My Moen pull out sprayer had a plastic screen behind the round center section on the pull out. It wasn't easy to unscrew the center section because there wasn't much of a lip to get a grip on. I did manage to unscrew it with a pair of pliers.
