Here are two pictures of the check valve in the kitchen spray nozzle.

This is a picture of the complete assembly taken apart. The four pieces on the right go together to form the check valve and the piece on the left is the “seat” for the assembly in the faucet barrel.



This is a picture of the check valve assembled and the “seat” showing the very small hole that was cutting down water flow. That hole was the only way that water could flow through to get to the nozzle outlet.

No, the entire assembly will come out. I did mine yesterday. Made quite an improvement in water pressure.
