Ladder

Hello all,

When I purchased my Dynasty, it did not have a rear ladder, anyone know where I source one or maybe a more universal one? I found one at a salvage yard in Missouri, but they want $300+ to ship a $110 used ladder. It needs to hinge in the middle, because the engine access door flips up over your head.

Thanks, JR

if you do a search you will find many other post of the same question and the majority of the responses from people that have gone through this is...

Don't bother with it - the stock ladders are marginally strong (at best), single use, and expensive for what you get (as you found out)

Get a collapsible ladder like the little giant or one like these.Be sure to get one that is taller than you rv with enough to spare to be able to get over the top - like 15' - so you can use it all around your rv, not just at the back !

Hi Tufamc; Shipping is always a killer! You could try Visone RV Salvage. I think they are in Ky. Have a good web site and lots of Dynasty's in their yard. Also try, I think it's called, RV Factory Surplus. They have lots of ladder parts and they might be closer to you. Good luck!

If you get one to mount on the rear why wouldn't you mount it on the side so as to avoid the engine access door. There are a lot of RV ladders on eBay less than $100 with free shipping. But if you're over 250 lbs, it might not work for you.

I have a collapsible ladder stores in the lower compartment, putting a ladder back on, honestly is for cosmetic reasons, looks goofy to me without one
