LaPalma Bedroom Slide Motor

My bedroom slide (electric motor) stopped working. The lights dim when the switch is pushed but no movement. Also, cannot hear the motor trying to work. I assume this circuit is on a fuse somewhere, anyone know which fuse/relay combination controls this circuit? Has been working just fine earlier in the day,

With your lights dimming, you may have a problem with your batteries, battery connections or shutoff switch. Can you put a volt meter on the batteries as someone else presses the button?

Try to find a wiring schematic, it will detail if it is fuses etc. May not show where they specifically are but at least what to look for.

My slide has a control module located in the rear passenger side electrical bay. It does have a fuse that occasionally fails but when this happens there is no noise and or movement or dimming of lights.

I did have my front slide motor fail, replaced it with new but kept the old. Took the time to tear it apart to see what was the problem, could not find anything but cleaned it up and reset the brushes. Put it back together and it worked so I now have a spare.

Thanks, troubleshooting remotely so hard to track everything down. I got schematics from Monaco but haven't come across this circuit.

There have been previous discussions about the motor and slide out drive coming loose from it's mount. That is all located under the bed. I wonder if yours has done so and is causing the motor to jam up. That would cause it to draw a high load when trying to operate resulting in the dimming of your lights.
