Leak in slide area

I have a 02 Monaco Knight that has recently developed a leak in heavy rain, Water appears on the floor at the front inboard corner of the slide, directly behind the drivers seat, with the slide "in". When the slide is "out" there is no leak. The floor under the chesterfield is dry and there is no sign of water coming from the top, even the small piece of carpet on the bottom front corner of the slide is dry.
I'v tried different settings with the jacks and or airbags and it doesn't seem to change anything.
If anyone else has run across this snag I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

leak

I had similar leak in my 06 diplomat. With the slide out look at the seal on the face of the slide that seals to the coach when the slide is closed its a small weather-strip. if that is bad it will allow water to pass the seal to problem number 2 that I found. There is a metal channel that fits around the opening in the side of the coach take a good look at the top of this channel make sure that there is a good silicone seal between the channel and the fiberglass if there is not the water will bypass the weather-strip into the channel then run down the channel and when it gets to the right angle that goes down just behind the drivers seat that is where my water would accumulate with slide closed. If open no leak. you may also notice the wallboard or luan above the slide is wicking the water that's building up in that channel. Diplomat Don is an expert in this area also give him a shout. I had to remove the slide topper to reseal the channel
