Exclamation Leak under New 2012 Monaco Vesta

Got home today and saw a pretty big spot under the RV that
i just picked up 8 days ago.

The photo below is behind the drive side front tire. Not sure if this is transmission fluid or possibly power steering. Any ideas?

Also do not know if I should drive it into the shop on Monday or get it towed.

We have a 2011 Vesta, which came with a 1 year service with Coach Net. Does the same Coach Net service come with the 2012 units? Your coach was built in Oregon and driven to your dealer many miles away and may have leaked a rather large quantity of fluid. Rather than have the unit towed somewhere, give Monaco tech service a call, verify that the Coach Net contract applies and then give them a call. They are very professional and would probably send a tech to your location and determine the cause and replace any fluid. Seems like a small leak but who knows how much as leaked out over those many miles to your home. Coach Net could then determine if a tow was necessary. Good luck.

If it is impossible to get anyone to look at it and you have to drive in then first clean off all the fluid and start it up and see actually where it is precisely leaking from. Then use a wrench and looks like a backup wrench required and lightly check the connections for tightness. Do not over tighten just snug tight and let the service people worry about how tight later.

Could it be leaking from the fill cap on the top and running down the side because it was overfilled or the cap on top is not on tight or crooked?

Hard to say what that is but my guess that would be a powersteering pump resevoir

All good advise here. Where or how far you need to go is also an issue. This appears to be a chassis issue and there are many more service locations that handle Navistar products. So, keep in mind that you are not limited to your selling dealer. If you only have a short distance to go check your fluid levels before you travel.

Leak

The dealership is I purchased it from is actually the closest location right now. It is about 12 miles away. I will call Monaco Owner Advantage first.

Thanks
