I don’t know that I could get them loose with that breaker bar. Or tighten them to 450 ft lbs. I struggled with my 4’ 3/4”drive torque wrench before I bought a torque stick to use with my impact wrench.

I have not removed any wheels on my coach yet.
I have used the Dewalt 3/4 drive impact gun to remove/install the spring U-bolts on my 4x4 pickup and with my U-joint puller/press when I removed the driveshaft on the coach. It definitely has power.
When I get around to pulling wheels on my coach - I'll report back how well the Dewalt works. I suppose I could remove one of two nuts now just to report back on the power. - I'll do this...
The breaker bar (38" handle) I have should get the job done if the Dewalt impact gun can't. I can always slip a piece of pipe over the handle if I need more leverage. I also have a 3/4" drive torque wrench for the installation.

Vito...I pretty much have the same impact. Sure it's made in China but it does the job. I also bought a cheap air jack, jack stands, and larger air hose all from Amazon. I did that not long after buying our RV cause I knew eventually I would have to take the tire off.
I have an 80 gallon Quincy but only small taps. I took out a large pipe plug in the side of the tank and drilled-tapped it for a half inch hose. Works pretty good but uses a ton of air. After about the 5th lug nut coming off the compressor is already on.

Received my 1" impact wrench. At almost 40# this thing is heavy!
I'm not sure how to plumb it. It came with a 1/2" tapered hose barb fitting.
Should I just use a piece of 1/2" ID hose and another hose barb, or a quick disconnect air hose fitting?

I would use the air hose quick disconnect fittings. I assume you are using "automotive shop air hose". If so it should have NPT threads on both ends.

Most home owner compressors will not deliver the needed CFM at 90 psi, but with a big enough tank and a short 3/4 " hose, it will knock off the lugs if you give the compressor time to refill the tank.
A Harbor Freight, 2.5 HP, 21 gallon compressor is rated at 4.7 CFM at 90 PSI. With that, you may be able to get 1 or 2 lugs loose or tight and the wait for it to recover.
In a tire shop, that wouldn't work. They would want a much higher CFM.

I’ll give you guys a little trick to use your big impact guns on your small compressor. I used it on my 1 inch gun in my shop where there is a large compressor. What is important is the pressure and the immediate delivery of air. I took a flexible air hose and put it directly on my impact about 8 ft long. I took the other end and put it on a fitting I welded it to a small air tank. No quick disconnects that restrict flow. Then I welded a fitting to the air tank to connect it to my compressor. For the first few hits the 1 inch impact doesn’t know if it’s connected to a 1/4 horse compressor or a hundred horse power dieselscrew compressor. That’s when you need the power. You may have to let your compressor “ catch up”, but you can get full power out of a small compressor. With this set up.

I was able to remove every other lug nut (5 total) using a Chinese 1" drive impact wrench, a small DeWalt (2.6CFM at 90) pancake air compressor, 3/8" air hose, and 1/4" air hose connectors. I almost ordered a larger air hose and connector set but decided to try what I already had. It will remove about 3 lug nuts and then you have to pause for a minute to let the compressor catch up.
I'm using this air compressor:

What gear oil are you guys using to refill the differential?
My owners manual says to use synthetic gear oil meeting MIL-L-2105D. This has been superseded by MIL-PRF-2105E.

A torque multiplier available at HF will make life easier. With that, you can use your 1/2" torque wrench to get the 450 ft lb or whatever you need to tighten nuts.

I used a torque stick to tighten the lug nuts. Made it easy.

Now I just need to find the MIL-L-2105D gear oil to top it off?
