Try the pic again, The China motor mfg look like Oct 27 2007, no leaks so far.
5200 miles and less then 50 slide actuations .
I am thinking on getting a seal to have on hand. I would try to pull the motor and replace the seal and clean it without disconnection the system plumbing.

Will be in Fort Myers until April.

Got the pic's that time.

I have come across a few others with the same or similar problem in the past little while. One fellow camper is parked right across from us and his just started leaking about a month ago.

He contacted Lippert thru a local dealer here and they asked for pictures as well so he may be getting a replacement as well.

It's a bit of a bummer but my hat is off to Lippert for stepping up to the plate.

We are off to Miami on the weekend to visit some friends and then who knows?

Maybe we will visit Ft Meyers before spring?

Pump number two going into the 2008 HR Vacationer. Lippert is supplying a new pump assy, but we have to cover the 300 dollar labor tab. Seems like they would start trying to figure out what they are doing wrong with the seal design on these pumps. Maybe this one will do the trick.

Sorry to hear about your trouble, again, Coachmanrvr.
We just got ours fixed a couple of weeks ago and I was looking forward to NOT having to think about this problem.
Maybe buying a spare seal and having a replacement part number for a similar motor was a bad oman!
For what it is worth, the wife and |I both noticed that the replacement pump assembly is MUCH quitter than the original.
We only used the original a couple of times before it packed it in but the difference is very noticeable.
Did you get any warning or just a big leak?

I met another fellow today with the same type of coach as ours and the same problem that we had.
He wasn't a forum member but I bet he has joined up now!

His coach only has 1400 miles on it. Hopefully things will work out for him as well.

I removed mine and replaced it with no bleeding required. The slide did not move during that period either.

I have an extra pump and motor that I need to have rebuilt for 'just incase'.

Thanks a lot this helped so much I want to get it rebuilt , I don't want to buy new because lippert want 1,3000 new I know it won't cost me that much to repair. And my travel trailer as been in a seasonal site since it was new opened and closed twice a year and motor bad . Should get more then that for 1300 $

Yeah, they are crazy expensive! I had to buy just the tank for my 5th wheel and it was near $200.

On this coach, the motor gave out on the day I was supposed to take delivery...2500 miles form home. Found a nearly new pump form a local dealer for $100 (He already got a ton of $$ from me) Had to overnight air the motor for $1000....and it showed up 4 days later! We searched high and low all over the nation and could only get it from Lippert.

They make a new 'improved' link between the motor and pump. Basically it is a link with an O-ring on it to act as a secondary seal if the pump goes bad again.
