Lippert Slide Out Inner Rail Removal
In a previous post I detailed how my living room slide is drooping, causing the gear rack / inner rail assembly to drag on the body.
Lippert's instructional videos on how to remove the inner rail for replacement of the rear roller make the job look simple, until you realize they are working with a "dummy" slide out with no obstructions.
In the real world the bottom facia of the slide box prevents removing the rail assembly. They say to remove the facia, but REALLY? That's major surgery, possibly even requiring repaint work.
Is there some trick I'm missing here to get that inner rail removed?
bobzilla1881 posted that he is having the exact same issue with his Diplomat so I believe the is not just an isolated incident.
