I own a 2008 Camelot so my opinion might appear a tad slanted but I'd opt for the Camelot, lots more coach for the money.

I think the Cheetah might be a slight step down. Which engine is in the Cheetah? Cat? Is it a C9 or C7? Do they both have the same options like Aqua Hot?..SmartWheel? Are the number of slides the same? Even if it is equal, I think I would go Camelot.

Camelot 40PAQ

I've got a 2006 Camelot 40PAQ which I purchase in 2012. Since then I've put 26,000 miles on it and we still absolutely love it. You give up some cabinet space due to the big windows, but that doesn't bother us at all. We just finished a seven week trip with heavy mountain driving and had zero problems. Whatever you buy make sure to check the tire date codes and batteries since they are big ticket items.

i like the Camelot better also but my wife wants more sleeping options. Maybe we could swap the table for a booth?

That is a possibility. I've got a friend who sells used motorhomes and they change configurations quite often. We had the booth in our previous motorhome but really like the table now. We have three grandkids so it does get tight when we have them stay over but we make it work.
