Looking for help on this one

I have what must be some sort of alarm or warning going off. When I start the engine all lights on the dash, lights behind all the swithches & and out side flashers around the entire coach flash for 60 seconds. While this is happening if I turn the key to off killing the engine the flashing continues but a tone alarm sound as well. Everything runs fine and operates properly. I even ran the jacks through a cycle just to make sure that this was not related to them.

Hopefully some of you have had some experience with this and can provide some info.

Thanks

Sounds like your park brake pressure switch is starting to fail. Next time this occurs, release and reset the park brake a couple of times while the engine is running. If it stops you have found the problem. Even if it does not stop, the pressure switch is the most likely problem.

Here is a picture of the park brake valve and switch attached. The switch just screws in and is Nason SM-1C66R/WP28. You can get the switch from Monaco or one of the following:

Order from one of the following Nason Distributors

Cross Company 866-219-8217
Sunsource 800-228-5800
Flow Dynamics 205-581-1200
Hydraulic Energy Products 800-800-3471
Fluid Power Equipment Co., 877-471-8999
Hydralic Controls in Phoenix 602-278-6088

Rex - Thanks for the reply, I'll check it out later today. After thinking this through, I feel strongly that this is related to the security alarm. All the lights that flash are the same ones that flash when you set the security alarm. I'll post what I find out.

Dertermind my problem. Turns out it was in fact the security system that was turned on by mistake. If you set it while in the coach and then start it, the lights will flash for 60 seconds to inform you to turn the system off. Live and learn.
