The wife has the rear closet so I get the small one where the washer/dryer would go.
It is a bit short,I would like to replace the round wooden rod that hangs down some, with a metal one that has small holes in it for the hangers.
I have gone to Home depot and other stores with no luck.
I remember seeing a rod like this in some RV?

SacsTC,

What's the advantage of these slotted hangers?

No that's not it.
I want to remove the wooden rod and put the metal one up high go I have more room, it is too short,I need to hang this higher.

rvtips...
why don't you just move the wooden one up and put some of those metal brackets on the wooden rod?
If not ...then why not do something like this?

SacsTC,
"MM has so much stuff in there now that nothing can move enough to come loose.... "

That's kinda what I was implying. I have maybe 3" of closet rod and it takes a pry bar to get a shirt off of it.

That won't work,I need more room, the rod needs to go as high as possible, the shirts hit the bottom now.

DW gets the entire rear closet and I get the smaller one in the hallway which is more than enough room for me.

Rvtips, I know what you're talking about, but I don't think I've ever seen one anywhere. Maybe if you could draw a picture of it and visit the parts counter of some larger RV and trailer outlets one of those parts guys will recognize what you are looking for. They see everything.

That's what i'm looking for.
But it is more that twice as long as I can use and for $ 18.00 plus $8.00 shipping I need to think about this.
Thanks
