loosing power only half of leg

our coach 2001 Holidy Rambler Endeavor only shuts down half the power.(doesn't matter if we are on 30 or 50 amps) The front tv and any power source on that side. Takes only a few minutes and than reboots itself. What in the inverter would cause this or is it something other than the inverter? We have checked all wires into the invertor and they seem to be ok.. fustrating to be watching tv and it goes out.

If you have a Trace/Hart Legend Series 1500 watt inverter, it only has one leg (L1) extended to it and it has a 30 amp internal transfer switch. If this switch opens, it shuts down that leg of power to the coach when you are on shore power. The other leg (L2) of a 50 amp shore line goes to the Air Conditioners. So your inverter is the likely problem. Can't say what is causing this, but you should start looking for a new inverter.

ourway:
It's not clear from your write-up that you lose ALL AC-power-outlets, or just a few (towards the front of the coach and front TV). If some outlets continue to work (including the rear TV?), then your Inverter or other source may not be the culprit.

I had something similar: a wire-nut that joined about 4 AC neutral (white) wires had one wire that made intermittent contact within. Drove me nuts. But the wiring diagram helped me locate same. Hope you have a diagram!!

Thank you we will try looking into that. It does make sense, because it also happens when we shut an outside door too hard it also causes it to shut down.
