Angry Loss of Power

Our 2008 Monaco Knight lost power in part of the coach. We are on a RV trip in Utah. We called a mobile repair man and after searching for possible solutions he did a hard reset of the 50 amp main breaker, the 30 amp inverter breaker plus the battery kill switches. He let set for a few minutes and everything started working. However, today again the same issue happened and the reset did not last very long.

We are thinking it is a bad inverter? I would appreciate anyones help. Thank you so much!

Did the mobile repair man use a meter to test anything?
Are you talking about losing 120 VAC in part of the motorhome?
Is it a Magnum inverter?
I would agree that it could be and likely is the inverter. We tend to think of the inverter as just a battery charger but it often has 120VAC that feeds through it.

Are you on grid power, that is are you plugged into a power post?

Are breakers tripping or are you just using them to power off the system?

If one is tripping which one?

Try just resetting them one at a time and see which one has an effect.

What exactly isn't powered? Is it the part that is powered by the inverter when you don't have any grid power (no power post and no generator)

Do you have an inverter and a converter or a charger/inverter? What are the make and model?

Do you have a voltmeter?
