Lost 12 volt DC power
As I was sitting in the MH, all of a sudden the 12 volt lights went out. After investigating I discovered that there was no 12 volt power in the coach.
Checked the batteries: 14.3 v (lithium).
Checked power into the 12v fuse panel: 0 volts
Recycled both battery cutoff switches: no change
Checked voltage into solenoids: 14.3v
Checked voltage out of solenoids: 2 had 27.5v and 1 had 14.3
If I start the engine then 12v power operates as normal.
Anyone have any ideas on what I am missing?

27.5 volts is way out of wack. Check your ground cables.
After the house solenoid should be a circuit breaker before it gets to the fuse panel.

Long shot but could it be your salesman switch near the front door?

I was gonna suggest salesman/battery disconnect. But it works off engine alternator as I'm reading it then no.
Fuse or breaker added house batts. Did you add a shunt seen those pop like a fuse. From there check connections like through panel isolators ect.

Don't seem to have a problem with the salesman switch.
I do have a shunt. Checked power by grounding on both sides and voltage was the same.
Where am I picking up 27.5 volts? Is it a combination of house and chassis battery voltages?
I have three solenoids, 2 small and one large "big boy". Can anyone explain how these are supposed to work and a method to check them?
Thanks for your assistance.

Problem solved! The Aux Start switch had failed and was stuck in the on position. Disconnected the switch and everything went back to normal.
Anyone know where I can obtain a replacement?

How can that knock out your lights?
Are you still measuring 27.5 volts?

Follow the circuits on here.
Isolation solenoid is the big boy.

To RamiDav: I'm not sure I understand it myself, unless a prolonged boost of voltage prevented a self-resetting circuit breaker from resetting.
I am no longer getting 27.5 volts.

Jim, the photo you posted in another post, of your Power Panel is very similar to my 1997 Dynasty. To answer your question; the Big Solenoid is the battery combiner or for boosting start power, the next small solenoid is operated by the Salesman Switch and provides 12VDC to the coach 12VDC Fuse Panel and the upper small solenoid is in the engine start circuit.
