Exactly Ray. The Esco LPT50BRD that I'm going to order has Lyght on the box lid.

Just removed the IOTA transfer switch from my 06 Monaco Camelot. Followed the smell when the power went down. Looked like the switch picture posted above. Like previously stated. It worked fine until it didn't. It certainly arced and there was smoke lingering when I found it.

Just one more example of why I changed mine out before the smoke escaped from it. Glad it didn't actually start a fire matmatthi1.

I had about the same issue on my '04 Vacationer last fall. Mine hadn't burned like that but was melted and distorted in the same area. I still had some 110V but lost it on one side of the 50A. No front A/C or WH.
I replaced mine with a Progressive Dynamics model# PD52DCSV that has the surge and circuit checker built in. A little more money, but now I don't need a surge protector, too.

Just replaced my transfer switch and surge protector with a Progressive Dynamics surge/transfer switch, per mfg if you have a power surge the worse case is you blow the board which costs approx. $125 dollars not $3000 for new inverter. features hi-voltage surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral & Dc coil protection, eliminates any coil buzzing, also includes generator protection. Unit was very easy install, no wire changes etc.. I used Model PD52DCS, just installed this week, so far all is as advertised.
