Unless you plan on doing a lot of driving you will only need to change your oil once a year. I can't see carring a lot of weight with boards or jack stands plus an oil drain pan around all year just to save the labor cost for an oil change. I like to do my own work but in your case I would find a place near where you are located when oil change time comes that changes oil in large vehicles.

I had my coach serviced at the Knoxville, TN ServCo yesterday and I am very pleased. The basic service for engine oil and oil filter change, primary and secondary fuel filter change, chassis lube and engine coolant freeze point and SCA check was ~$150. I had them use Fleetguard filter and there was an additional change for them but not much. The facility was clean and very professional. I can see no reason to do anything else but use this service in the future. Consider that my coach holds 28 qtrs of oil and the three filters alone could easily cost around $50 this all was a bargain to me.

Was that the Knoxville Speedco at Watt Road or is ServCo something different?

Sorry about that - Bob you are correct it was the Speedco at Watt road. Don't know what I was thinking about - the other info is correct.
I also had Cummins campaign 0953 performed on my ISL 425 by the Freightliner service center just down the road from Speedco. They seemed to be a little better setup than the Crosspoint Cummins service center on Rutledge Pike also closer to my home in Oak Ridge. As an example, they needed to check piston blow-by under load as part of the campaign and they put the coach on a dyno to load it; they didn't need to take it out on the road and drive it a high speed and the Crosspoint folks said they would have to do.

That is one-hellova good price. The last oil change/lube/filters, including generator cost my just pennies under $500.00

Thanks for the info on the Freightliner service center. I used the Crosspoint Cummins for a campaign on my ISL and was not impressed.
