Magnum inverter problem

Hello to all, have a 2006 Diplomat with a Magnum 2012 ME inverter. Chassis and coach batteries are new and fully charged. While plugged into shore or running the Gen every everything works perfect. Problem is when unhooked from shore and Gen is off and want to use the inverter to power up the 120v in the house, the inverter button on the remote control panel is dead. Have done both soft and hard reset nothing helped. Goggle that the inverter button could have 2 fuses, searched the 12v fuses in the rear closet and at the inverter, no luck finding any fuses. Suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks, Dale.

Your problem may be dirty contacts on the back of the inverter button. The rubber buttons on the panel have a carbon material impregnated in the back of the button. When you press the button, it makes a momentary contact on the circuit board behind it. When I had this problem, I took the panel apart and cleaned the contacts with a Q tip and alcohol. All has worked fine since.

Good luck. Richard

You can operate the inverter without the control panel. I lost mine last year and the Inverter/Charger worked just fine without it. A new one in place and all is well.
