MCD windshield shade motor

We have a 2009 Monaco, Dynasty, RegalIV. The day shade for the MCD windshield stopped working. I took it of and pulled the motor. I called MCD and the replacement is $155. I checked Amazon and what looks like the motor is $59. However, it does not look like it has limit switch wires. Also it said it is 500mA instead of 800mA on the MCD. Has anyone had this issue?

Thank you all.

I replaced one of our MCD shade motors with one from Roller Trol.

Works great, and less than 1/2 price.

A bonus is that when I programmed it, I set the stop lower than the original. Only thing is, it's on the passenger side.

Here's a link to them......

MCD

Were the MCD motors that you replaced RED in color with the learning button? Cant find them any longer. MCD no longer makes them. If so, do you have a Rollertrol part number? Thanks !

They make a new motor, I just had to buy one a couple of months ago, the instructions said to change the output gear from the old motor to the new motor, can’t be done, the new motor has a larger shaft. Fortunately, the new output gear worked fine.

Here is what I ordered:
Part # 50.338 $155.00+ shipping

Part# 70.126 Add screw

Sorry, but I have to ask. Did you try a reset on your limit switches? Ours stop working from time to time and we thought one was dead. Talking to a tech at MCD he suggested to reset the shades. It worked for us.
