It seems like it is just over a week away before his new Dip is done....Any news yet?
Will we have an ontime delivery ....or will this big baby be a little late?
(you know how we women always hope for an early delivery! )

Got a call Tuesday from DeMartini and they picked the coach up from the factory on the 22nd - one day ahead of sked. They are going to install the stack washer and drier that we opted for over the factory option of a combo. We will leave Maryland Labor Day and drive a couple of hours to get out of the DC area and probably stop in Penn somewhere. Plan on being in the area Tuesday and will start the PDI Wednesday Morning. Driving out the old Suzuki Sidekick and towing a dolly to pull it back with. Hopefully we will be back in Maryland Friday and start to cross-deck everything from the old RV - need to leave Saturday to head to Saratoga Springs NY for a Navy Reunion. Looks like a busy week - Pictures to follow.

Master,

Hope you have "fair winds and following seas" in your new coach. I just retired (1 August) after 32 years in the canoe club.

Bill it sounds like a plan. We were in Lake George all last week, there was an 08 Diplomat from DeMartinis in the CG. What a gorgeous rig, I love the new rear cap, this guy loves his. Come on down to the Mid Atlantic weekend. I will call you.

Gordon , My brother retired from the Coasties, as a Master Chief some yrs back now. Aviation.

I'm really looking forward to seeing some pictures especially of the rear cap. Heard allot about it. If I have seen the right floor plan for the SXQ, it has 4 slides and has the same basic layout as my SKT.

Master Chief. Will you be posting the pictures on Webshots or Photobucket?

Steve. How many years ago did your brother retire? I've been retired for just about 10 years and my last duty station was Air Station North Bend, OR. As an Airdale, I strongly suspect he has spent some time out here. There are not that many Air Stations. It's possible we crossed paths. It's a small, small service.

Congratulations on your new Dip. We picked ours up at the rally in Redmond last week and we are currently on our way home, although very slowly. Our coach is awesome and we have had many folks approach in the campground to admire it. You will really be impressed with the performance. As soon as I figure out how to load pictures, we will do so.
ENJOY the new wheels!

Gordon,

The difference with the 40SKQ is that the kitchen is up front. TV is down in the back with Fireplace, quad slide like you said. We got the Tommy Bahama paint scheme - only have seen pictures so far - Monaco Mama has a friend in Indiana and he might snap some pictures today and send them. Monaco Mama said she would post them this evening if all goes well. Maybe if the USAF Retired can figure how to use the camera we can see his coach. We are going to head out next Monday and hopefully be back in Maryland by Thursday so we can pack up and head to Saratoga Springs. Steve - I have the Sidekick all fired up - fixed the air and the old girl is running good. Still need the tow plate and drive shaft disconnect on the Titan so we can pull it with the Diplomat.

Bill.

Our kitchen is up front as well with the TV in the mid-wall in front of the bathroom.

Looking forward to the pictures.

Bet you can't wait!

Looks just like mine, except for the small slide opposite the bed.
