Microwave trim tape

Can anyone recommend the name of trim tape to hold stainless steel trim on microwave? I tried high temp epoxy glue with no success.

Thanks for help.

When mine came off I cleaned it with alcohol and got double sticky tape from Home Depot. I used "3M" brand "VHB", (VERY HIGH BOND) 1" wide and it has held tight for years now. Must be VHB tape..... Make sure it is straight before touching as once touched to microwave it will not come off at all.

I cleaned off the old tape and residue then used whirlpool high temp adhesive. It was easy to work with and can be repositioned before it dries. It had pretty good initial adhesion, though I added a bit of scotch tape to assure the pieces did not shift while it cured. It has held well.

I cleaned off eh old tape and also used 3 m tape from a auto parts store. This is the tape used to secure molding and name plates. Working great.

I just cleaned mine up and then applied a coupe of beads of GE Silicon Seal. Worked fine....parts still attached.
