Rottie-

First off, welcome to iRV2!

Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

Re: Mirror bolts to coach. If Ramco made your mirrors, you will need to remove the mirror arms. This will allow you to remove the plastic cover over the bolts that attach the arms to the coach. If Ramco made the mirrors, you should see their name on the plastic "button" that covers the bolt on the underside of the mirror arm at the coach (not the mirror) end. Pointers on removing the mirror arms are here. A link to Ramco's Web site is here.

If Velvac made your mirrors, you can look on their Web site (link here) for information.

Mark is telling you how to get to the bolts but I am telling you that they will not tighten up the mirror because Monaco used a piece of wood in the fiberglass front cap to fasten the mirrors using lag bolts. Over time the wood becomes soft and the bolts get loose. What I did was use some long 1/4 carriage bolts and went all the way thru the wood and put washers and nuts on the back side. The heads of the carriage bolts will pull down into the space provided for the bolt heads and not turn. This allows you to reach back behind the front cap and tighten the mirror. Yours may be a little more difficult than mine because I don't think your generator is on a slide. My generator pulls out and I have no problem getting to the back of the mirror mount.
