Monaco badge lettering & Logo

Greetings,

Can anyone direct me to a company that makes replacement badge lettering and possibly the Monaco logo for the exterior of our Monaco Camelot? With age, the lettering has faded and cracked. Replicating the original mirror-like chrome finish on the plastic pieces has led me to less than satisfactory results.

Many thanks,
Dale

I have seen them on eBay. Search for Monaco motor home emblem. I just did, and found 2 of them.
Another place you might try is Northwest RV Supply. They are a good source for Monaco parts.

Good luck !

Dale-

Here is a link to "Decals" at Northwest RV Supply.

A signmaker can reproduce most flat items, if a decal is not available.

For things like the 3-D "badges," I think I'd try the salvage yards.

Some factory must make them for newer models. Those beautiful raised letter ones like my Endeavor emblems on the side are gorgeous and I would pay good money to have some custom made but have not found a company.

I just replaced the HR round emblem on my generator slide with a brand new one from E-bay but it is not like the inch thick piece of painted plastic for example. The new raised decal is nice but I would love to replace the ones on the back.

For example, 400 ISL. On the rear is raised lettering and even a bit soft to the touch.

Someone on these forums must have an answer. Ne coaches are getting them somewhere.

Finding switches and Rocker covers was a real pain for a long time and this group managed to find several suppliers that will customize those as well.

Thank you. I saw those on eBay and they're the wrong size. I mean, I suppose I could just replace the ones I have with smaller ones. Not the end of the world, but think I'll look a little more before pulling that trigger. NW RV Supply doesn't have any of the "Monaco" or cursive "Camelot" or even the Monaco logo. The quest goes on.

Thank you,
Dale

Northwest didn't have any items that match my "Monaco" lettering or the cursive "Camelot". I think that Chrome self-adhesive decals, over the top of the raised letters might be a great way to go if I could find a manufacturer.

Thank you,
Dale

Myron, I'm going to look into a quantity buy of replacement lettering and Logo emblems. Then I found out from Harry, that his Monaco has different lettering all together. "Snowflakes" rears it's ugly head again! I'm on it though. More soon.

Thanks,

Dale

This may be the answer...maybe a group purchase. The snowflake issue may preclude any sizable order for economy.

hmmm... a tree branch must have got to the raised large MONACO on the rear of our 2011 Diplomat and I've not found a replacement yet...
As a stopgap, may just match the silver metallic coloring and 'paint' the bad letters on..

I've contacted Emblem Art to see what we can do. I did some research on the cursive script that we all have in one size or another and unless there are additional "snowflake" units out there, we all seem to have the font; "Kaufman Std. Bold". Knowing that, the company that produces the pieces will be able to save some time and perhaps some cheddar for us. Unfortunately, the "MONACO" lettering appears to be a custom design n that I could not find a match for them. Onward... Monday may be fruitful.

Good info, maybe they can help...
Went by the storage area and my 2011 monaco Diplomat 43DFT has block letters on the back that are roughly 21 or 22" wide and 3 1/4" tall

Hi,
I’ve been following this thread, my ‘01 38’ Diplomat needs new lettering pretty badly, so I might be interested as well depending on what was found
Thanks
Michael

Monaco Badge

Is there anything new on acquiring a source for these badges? I have a 2007 Dynasty and the badge above the windshield needs replaced.

I contacted a place that advertises they can reproduce any raised lettering. They specialise in boats. When I sent them a picture of the Monaco emblems they refused on the grounds of trademarks!
I got some flat almost right ones made at a sign shop but the script for the "Cayman" is not an off the shelf font so it's just "close enough".
To see how many ways I messed it up read my blog.
