Monaco-Beaver

I just bought a used Beaver MH and was looking for a beaver owners forum and none exist here , but a friend of mine told me that Monaco bought Beaver, so does anyone here know if that is right?

Yes your friend is correct. Monaco bought the Beaver name, but they currently don't produce any motorhomes under the Beaver name to my knowledge.

Beaver was purchased by Safari back in the late '90s and Monaco purchased Safari/ Beaver some time in the early 2000's. there is a very active Beaver owners club called I believe the Beaver Ambassadors Club. There is a yahoo group called "Monacoers" that is open to any of the Monaco family of coaches. The group has about 4400 members and can answer just about any technical question about your coach.

If you first pay to join FMCA

In that no MH info is listed in signature or registration, very little info can be offered.
Google "beaver motorhome history"

Safari bought Beaver Motor Coach in '94 and built a full line through the 90s, then when Monaco bought Beaver in 2002(?) they got Beaver as well. I think they sold Beaver for a couple more years though apparently no longer per earlier post. Here's the link to that Beaver history site which has all the old brochures for Beaver which are a wonderful resource for anyone interested in Beaver coaches; goes all the way back to '74!

Any chance anybody knows where I can find brochures for 90s Monaco?
Thanks,
Jon

The Beaver coaches were built by Monaco up until their bankruptcy. During most of the period that they were owned by Monaco they were built on Roadmaster chassis and after around '05 they were built in Coburg on the same production line as the Monaco and HR coaches. They had their signature burl wood cabinetry until the end. The line could be reintroduced anytime by the current owner of the name, Navistar RV.
