Question Monaco cold weather package consists of?

I read that the Monaco Knight in 2002 had an optional cold weather package with individual heated pads for the tanks. Anyone have experience with these? Curious if those are better than the Expedition method of pumping heated air into the basement.

I have read that the Fleetwood expedition has a heated basement. Does anyone know if the other fleetwoods do too or just the expedition?

I read that the Thor Mandalay has cold weather package standard but its 40 ft long and I'm looking for a shorter Diesel pusher. I see that is optional on the shorter Thors. Also not sure what that package consists of in the Thors. Anyone know?

OR do you know other brands that have it? I want to do snow trips so this seems key to have.

I was thinking to get a 2000 to 2007 year model as I hear those years are the best made but would consider something newer. And ideally a 30 to 34 ft diesel pusher.

thanks!
Stefan

You can download brochures for older Moanco coaches here:
https://www.monacocoach.com/luxury-rv-brochures
The brochures will tell you what equipment and features are standard and what are optional for each model and floorplan.
Be aware the EPA emissions standards were tightened up considerably beginning with the 2007 model years requiring owners to have to deal with extra expense and extra effort of new equipment and procedures. You will need to learn about DPFs, DEF, SCR, etc. if you buy a 2007 or newer coach. Oftentimes, a 2007 model year coach may be built on a 2006 model chassis with a 2006 built engine. I don't know how the feds deal with that dichotomy in the regulations.

My 2000 exe has the cold weather package as far as I can tell the main difference is a duct to the tank bay from the furnace, a larger furnace, and an engine block heater.

There may be more but that’s what I see.
