Monaco Dynasty 34 steering box.

My mechanic replaced the steering box on my Monaco dynasty ,as the other was leaking.
When I drove it home,I found that turning left there was no problem ,but turning right ,the wheels would not turn completely creating a very wide turning arc. The mechanic told me he installed the new gear exactly the way the old was installed.I am taking the coach back ,but would appreciate Ideas why this is happening. Thanks

After replacing mine, it took a few drives to get the fluid to bleed all of the air out to allow full swing of wheels in both directions.

What steering box?


Some, like the Sheppard M100 have external stops that MUST be set properly. If too far in, less cut angle. If too far out, steering knuckle can hit the mechanical stop which will quickly blow the seals in the replacement box.
