Help - when I connect to city water and turn it on it doesn’t matter what position I put my switch too it fills my fresh water tank and it over fills.
I can turn the pump on with the switch in any position but it just runs and will not prime and run.
Any help with this matter would be appreciated.

sounds like your valve that switches from fresh water tank to city water is not switching. Is it electric?

You don’t have to position the switch at all. Leave off. It should still provide water from the spigot to the coach. Your pump should not run on city water.

Over the years a previous owner had added something extra to the water system. It does not match the factory diagrams at all. We had no documentation about any changes, so it was a bit confusing. But there is a valve they installed that in one direction it will fill the tank and never stop. The factory switch for auto fill/city water/?? doesn't seem to work correctly. You may have to replumb to fix the issue. I have added a water softner and will soon go about replumbing the whole mess for our set up. If you've ever had a well with a pressure tank it's about the same type of set up. May need to just redo the whole thing, I have to. Good luck.
