Yes...sharp but I don't really like the "pointy" look of the front end and the lighting but I do like the roof line. Overall, I like the more traditional classic look.

There has been a lot of talk about tMonaco bringing out a new Dynasty for Spring of 2014, although there a little out of my price range.

2014 dynasty

I hope they offer the cummins isx as an option. The MF would be a non starter for me at this point.

If you blow up the picture it appears that the slides are flush with the body. Thats new and nice.

If this is to be a true luxury Dynasty as in the past it MUST have a Cummins ISX. That MF engine will kill most sales. Who would buy a coach that I am sure will be priced way beyond $500,000 with an MF13? Otherwise a first glance looks like it might be a nice coach. Navistar is sure stubborn. I bet they will get lots of negative feedback from their dealers.

I'm with you. I've always been able to recognize a Dynasty by the front end. This looks like a Navistar coach. Then call it a Navistar coach, but still offer the Dynasty coach with a Dynasty front end.

I do like the roof line.

Well I for one really like the looks of the front end of all the new Monaco Coaches. The Dynasty to me is really sharp looking. I like the distinctive look of it.

I recently saw a left over 2012 Dynasty at the RV show. It had one of the last Cummins ISM engines. The ISM was also a great engine and weighs 1000# less than the ISX (2070 vs 3093).

I agree. Any Max Force engine is a show stopper for me.

Most people resist change, even change for the better. The new Navistar look is certainly non traditional and unique to Navistar. The question and resistance to the MF 10 is a little tougher. There is no shortage of folks talking about the problems with the MF10 but if you look at J D Powers surveys of trucking owners at one year and 2 years of service then the Navistar MF engines in the MF11/13 family they are top rated. The engine was designed by MAN in the European market and was just equipped in Europe with the DEF system. It would appear that any issues with this engine family was due to the Navistar attempt to go another direction with the emissions system. If Navistar uses the MAN designed DEF system there is every reason to believe it will be successful. Since 2004 repair frequency has more than doubled and this is directly due to the changes mandated to meet emissions requirements. This issue cuts across all manufacturers.

Since Cummins killed the ISM, the MF13 sure looks good spec wise. The ISX is a very heavy engine at 1000 pounds more than the ISM or the MF13. If they can get it right it will certainly be a win for the motorhomes community.
