Monaco lapalma truss recall / repairs

Looking to buy 2002 Lapalma 36dbd on w22 workhorse chassis with 15,000 miles.

Brake recall completed but cannot find out if truss frame recall needs to be completed.

NHTSA says Vin needs to be checked, but not sure if repairs needed or completed. Downloaded recall notes Do not know what to look for when inspecting unit.

NHTSA site says contact manufacturer for info, since monaco has changed hands so many times, who should I contact

Monaco tech support is still in existence, try contacting them by phone or email. Here is the web page with contact info, you will need the VIN.

Contact Monaco Coach

I would probably call and explain your situation. This may actually require a call to Freightliner since it is there chassis and they would have handled the recall.

I had a problem with my radiator and found that they had recall for my model year, called Monaco and they found that mine was not included, sent me a copy of the Technical Service Bulletin.

Also, you can get a copy of the manual and brochure on some model years here Owners Center

Smile LED Replacement

Thanks to all for their input/ Web sites.
Just returned from Hersey RV Show. If
you have pre-LED RV model and having
issues finding ones that physically fit in
our generally small fixtures and that
don't produce interference to our often
weak off-air TV reception... I highly
recommend using/ calling Innovative
LED RV Lighting Solutions. Email:
brignolo@soncov.com or call owner
Joe 513-899-9152. He knows the RV
units and fixtures, has sourced or
engineered (electronics engineer/ amateur
radio) replacements that are bright,
safe, and fit in white-white, warm white
and warm tones. Pricing competitive
with overseas. Most importantly... they
fit our smaller fixtures perfectly, including
my small under cabinet puck lights
that use those power hungry/ hot (burn
your skin off) small G4 pin halogen
bulbs. His disc replacements fit perfectly
and are brighter!
