RV Business reports that Monaco has laid off 200 workers out of 1200 at their Wakarusa IN plant due to slow sales.

Due to copyright restrictions, I can't post the entire article.

There is an article about it in the South Bend Tribune also.

Thanks MM for adding the link. I didn't know how. When I saw that article, several people had added their comments. One comment even said that they were rumors they are going to lay off more people.

I feel bad about Cook's pizza too. I heard they were really good even though we didn't try them when we were there. We did treat the employees of our dealership (DeMartini, of course)to lunch there because all of them went above and beyond for us when we picked up our MH earlier this year.

Hopefully, there will be no further lay offs.

GW

Good evening,
For those of you who have been to the Wakarusa plant you know how that whole area is heavily involved in rv manufacturing. I would think with the current market conditions and the nervousness about the economy in general that we will see more news of this sort.
