Monaco Maintenance Schedule

Using the Monaco Mainteneace Schedule, I scheduled a service for my coach based on the 12 month interval. I just returned from servicing my Cayman. Several items on the Monaco Maintenace checklist I am not sure about. The items are.....

1. Hydraulic filter? Is this for the power steering?
2. Generator - clean spark arrestor?
3. Generator - Inspect/adjust V belt?

Also, what are your thoughts on Chevron RPM 15W40 motor oil?

After completing the service today, including replacing all oil filters, fuel filters, air filters, etc, my tech believes doing this each year is not necessary. (Only 5000 miles since last service.). He recommends completing the lube every year and replace all filters and fluids every two years (due to the low mileage). (Not retired yet!)

What are your thoughts? Thanks for your input!

If you have an extended warranty require you to do the 12 month maint every 12 months. If not then it is up to you. I have heard that it is a good idea to change oil every 12 months due to moisture collecting in it during long periods of disuse.
