Mine has a dinette and no booth. But, there's every chance I may have the initials wrong. I am using what was given to me by the dealership.

You could be right, I searched on a 2005 Safari Gazelle 40 PBT and found this video. It has a booth rather than a dinette.

I love the exterior color on that one. As I watch him walk through the coach, I'm amazed how different that one is inside than ours. I see how many options ours has over what I guess was a fairly stock model.

Also, on ours, we have a optioned garden tub, which is way to short for me to use, but, it is noted in the brochures as a option! Rail!

Okay next guesses....DSQ?

D=Dual Bath (Bath and a half actually)
S=???
Q=Quad slide

The 2006 Scepter Brochure had:
38PDQ
40PDD
40PET
40PAQ
40PDQ
40PRT
42DSQ

The P v. D for # of Bath logic holds up
The D v. T v. Q for Slide# logic holds up

I think you have the D and Q right, but don't think they included the engine in the model designation.

I stopped in the new Monaco factory and ask this very question a few years back.
They brought up a guy who had been with the company for over 30 years.
He said no one really knows, the letters seemed to change meanings year to year and for what he knew there is no formula for it.

So - mine has FD

I have a 1996 Monaco Dynasty, model Count FD which I was told meant "front door" (front passenger corner of the coach) vs. a mid-entry door.

Add that to the mix (or mix-up)
