Smile Monaco Newbie!

Hello Team Monaco...I am about to purchase a 2001 Monaco Diplomat 38' DP with a 330 ISC. I am so excited, as this will be my third MH but my first DP.
Getting a great deal on it b/c it needs a exterior makeover, but the engine, genny & interior are in good shape - $25,000.

My question for you guys is the roof, it doesn't leak, but we are going full time for the first year, so I want to upgrade it protection wise. It looks like it is aluminum, which is good, I think...but I am thinking of running some EternaBond tape over the seams, and maybe coating the rest.

Any thoughts on anything related to this topic on the Diplomat in general would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It should be fiberglass I would think. Scrub all seems and check for cracks or pinholes. Eternabond works great, as does the self leveling Dicor.

One of the first things I did was Eternabond and caulk all seams on the roof. A little water can do alot of damage.

With the age of our MH, I think it's worth the investment.
